The Opportunity
Momentum Health is hiring a Registered Massage Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in downtown St. John's. We're looking for an RMT who takes their clinical work seriously, wants to be part of a collaborative healthcare team, and wants to be treated like the skilled clinician you are.
At Momentum, our RMTs aren't an "add-on" service — they're a core part of our care model. You'll co-manage patients with our Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, and Counsellors, with warm internal referrals coming in steadily. You'll work in private, well-equipped treatment rooms in one of the most desirable buildings in downtown St. John's, with on-site parking and access to two private gym studios when integrated care calls for it.
What You'll Do
- Provide skilled, evidence-informed massage therapy treatment to a diverse patient population — including general wellness, orthopedic, post-MVI, pre/post-natal, sport, and chronic pain.
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient.
- Co-manage cases with the broader team — including shared notes, internal referrals, and case conversations.
- Maintain accurate, timely SOAP documentation in our electronic charting system.
- Educate patients on self-care, mobility, and recovery strategies.
- Engage in internal learning and team culture — mentorship and CE support are available.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program (2,200+ hour curriculum or equivalent).
- Registered (or eligible to register) with the Council of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador (CMTNL).
- Active professional liability insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, evidence-informed approach, and confident hands-on technique.
- Genuine interest in working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary care team.
- New graduates and experienced RMTs are both encouraged to apply. Specialty interests (deep tissue, sport, pre/post-natal, MVI, lymphatic, cupping, etc.) are welcomed and supported.
