Physiotherapist

Location: Momentum Health — 19 Kings Bridge Road, Downtown St. John's, NL Employment: Associate (contractor) or Salaried Employee — Full-time or Part-time

The Opportunity

Momentum Health is hiring a Physiotherapist to join our growing, multi-disciplinary team in downtown St. John's. We're looking for a clinician who practices hands-on, evidence-based physiotherapy and who wants to do that work in a true team environment — not in a silo.

You'll work alongside Chiropractors, RMTs, Manual Osteopaths, Mental Health Counsellors, Nutritionists, and Strength & Conditioning practitioners, with two private gym studios on-site that make active rehab and return-to-performance a core part of how we treat — not an upsell. You'll be supported by a busy, established patient base, modern facilities, and a team that actually meets to discuss cases.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and deliver evidence-based, hands-on treatment for orthopedic, sport, post-surgical, post-MVI, vestibular, and chronic pain populations.
  • Combine manual therapy, education, exercise prescription, and progressive active rehab using our on-site private gym studios.
  • Co-manage cases with our broader team — warm internal referrals, shared notes, and case discussions are standard.
  • Optional: build or co-lead group-based rehab and performance programs (post-op cohorts, return-to-run, MVI rehab groups, etc.).
  • Maintain timely, high-quality documentation in our electronic charting system.
  • Engage in mentorship, internal CE, and team learning — both as a learner and (if you want) as a contributor.

What We're Looking For

  • Master's (or equivalent) degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program.
  • Eligible for or registered with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists.
  • Active professional liability insurance (CPA / PIPSC or equivalent).
  • Strong clinical reasoning, current evidence-informed practice, and comfort progressing patients into active rehab.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — collaborative, curious, and patient-centered.
  • New graduates and experienced clinicians both welcome. Mentorship is available for those earlier in their career; leadership pathways are open for those further along.
  • Bonus (not required): vestibular, pelvic health, concussion, dry needling, or sport-specific training.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation — associate splits well above market, or competitive salaried packages with benefits.
  • A steady, established patient base — your schedule fills quickly.
  • Two private on-site gym studios for active rehab and performance work.
  • A collaborative, evidence-based team that includes Chiros, RMTs, Osteopaths, Counsellors, Nutritionists, and Trainers.
  • Downtown St. John's location at 19 Kings Bridge Road with on-site parking.
  • Funded or supported continuing education and internal learning opportunities.
  • Optional pathways into group programming, post-MVI rehab, or clinical leadership.
  • A modern, intentionally designed space — and a culture you'll actually want to work in.
